Obituary for Carol Marie Carnish
Carol Marie (nee Schoenbeck) Carnish, 87, of Mentor, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019.
She was born Dec. 26, 1931.
Carol enjoyed bingo, bowling, swimming, jewelry making, cross stitch, and colored pencil art.
She was the loving mother of Frank (Mikki, dec.) Carnish, Jo Ann (Tim) Atves, Chad Carnish, Mat (Deb) Carnish, Steve (Tenney, dec.) Carnish, Carl (Margaret) Carnish, Cindy (Todd) Diggins, Laura (Stan) Vitovich and Larry Carnish; cherished grandmother of Jenni, Jennifer, Heather, Tod, Kristofer, Angela, Carli, Shaina, Dustin, Jake, Samantha, Holly, Nikki, Val, Leslie and Crystal; great-grandmother of Kaydn, Isabela, Logan, Lincoln, Brianna, Jayden, JR, Aubrey, Lucas, Jerry, Troy, Nick and Storm; sister-in-law of Richard Krajec; and aunt of Jack Schoenbeck, Susan Bogart, Dave Krajec, Phil Krajec, Chris Krajec and Tim Krajec.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence Carnish; grandson, Jeffrey; parents, Herbert and Josephine Schoenbeck; siblings, Harvey, Jack, and Herb “Bud” Schoenbeck and Barbara Krajec; and nephew, Jim Krajec.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be Wednesday in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
