Obituary for Harry R Burkholder Jr.
Harry R. Burkholder Jr., 69, of Kirtland, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, at his residence.
Born March 18, 1949, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime Lake County resident.
Harry was a member of the F.O.P. and Eagles.
He was the loving father of Michael, Melissa and Michelle Burkholder; cherished grandfather of Jackson Burkholder, Kyle Sisson, Nathan Haslam, Brandon McElwain, Devin McElwain, Kaylie McElwain and Breanna McElwain; and brother of Carol (Tom) Curtis, Joe Burkholder and Jimmy Burkholder.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry R. and Mary (nee Hynd) Burkholder; and brother, Jack Burkholder.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville. (Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:30 a.m.)
