Obituary for Gary J. Wigand
Celebration of Life Service for Gary J. Wigand, age 68, of Painesville, will be 6:30 p.m., Friday at the McMahon-Coyne –Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Rt. 615. N. of Rt. 2), Mentor.
Mr. Wigand passed away Feb. 7, 2019, at his residence. Born July 15, 1950, in Cleveland, he has been a Lake County resident for the past 30 years living in Mentor before moving to Painesville.
Mr. Wigand was a retired employee of the Highland Heights service department.
Gary loved fishing and enjoyed looking at the stars.
He was the beloved husband of, Patricia R. Wigand (nee Halmagy); loving father of Adam V. Wigand (Sarah Palek) and Nicholas J. (Alicia) Wigand; brother of Mitchell (Carol) Wigand and Karen (Bill) Stefancin; and uncle of many.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Carl J. and Dorothy A. (nee Bald) Wigand; and brother Kent Wigand.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street (Rt. 615, N. of Rt. 2), Mentor. Burial will be private.
