My memories of Darlene are when we were all children, and there were many children. Their Summer visits to our house in West Virginia and our visits to Ohio. We played in the yard till dark, running and chasing each other, hide-and-go-seek, wore ourselves out playing, riding bikes, and playing on the swings. Mom and Aunt Maggie had the chore of cooking and feeding all of us kids. In the early times, there were about eight of us kids. Later on, more children came and it eventually there were 12 which made the visits more difficult and less frequent. (As we grew, we couldn't all fit in the car). It is sad for my cousin to be gone now, even though we lost touch with each other over the years. I am so sorry for her family's loss./Diana Mace Sears
