Wanda D. “Darlene” Altizer, 66, of Euclid, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019, peacefully at her residence in Euclid.
She was born Oct. 30, 1952, in Cleveland.
Darlene was a generous, independent loving person.
She was the loving mother of Nadene (Wayne) Nicoson, Ricci Vuyancih, Patrick McFaul, and Darlene McFaul; cherished grandmother of Nicole, Arthur, Jaimee, Miranda, Gianna, Gavin, and Michael; great-grandmother of Maycee and Anthony; sister of Drema (Donald) Kunze, Ulysses (Pam) Altizer, Patricia (Henry) Znidarsic, Judy Saporito, and Joseph (Kathy) Altizer; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysses S. and Mary (nee Cable) Altizer; son, Edward McFaul; and brother, Thomas Altizer.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, where a Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
