Obituary for Eleanore M. O'Donnell

Funeral Mass for Eleanore M. (nee Brosek) O’Donnell, 88, of Waite Hill, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd., Kirtland.
Mrs. O’Donnell passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born June 26, 1931, in Cleveland, she had lived in Cleveland Heights and Euclid before moving to Waite Hill.
Eleanore was a member of Divine Word Catholic Church in Kirtland and Christ Child Society. She enjoyed swimming, but most of all, family was very important to her and spending time with them. She was the loving mother of Catherine A. (George) Kellner, Christine M. (Frank) Mokris, Brian M. (Anne) O’Donnell, John P. (Nancy) O’Donnell, Maureen Roddy, and Peggy A. (Mike) Bonitati; cherished grandmother of Courtney Kellner, Katie Kellner, Kelly Kellner, Keith (Leah) Mokris, Amy Mokris, Michelle O’Donnell, Lauren O’Donnell, Mark (Colleen) O’Donnell, Jenny (Nate) Fahl O’Donnell, Patrick (Danielle) O’Donnell, Megan O’Donnell Geis (Matt), Ryan O’Donnell, Michael O’Donnell, Erin O’Donnell Englehart (Alister), Ellie Roddy Cavender (Tim), Michael (Dianna) Bonitati, Matthew Bonitati, Nicholas Bonitati, and Danielle Bonitati; great-grandmother of Cameron Kellner, Levi Fahl, Rhys O’Donnell, Aiden O’Donnell, and Noel Englehart; sister of Dennis Brosek; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Eleanore was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Peter Eugene O’Donnell; son, Steven O’Donnell; parents, Steven and Margaret (nee Laslo) Brosek; and grandson, Dan (Katie) Kellner.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street (Route 615, North of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
