Ralph M. Houchin, 51, of Willowick, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019, in Wickliffe.
Born December 24, 1967, in Phoenix, Ariz., he grew up in Collinwood and had lived in Euclid before moving to Lake County 20 years ago living in Willowick and Wickliffe.
Ralph loved working out, collecting Superman memorabilia, and was a Cleveland Sports fan.
He was the beloved son of Linda K (nee Boothe) Houchin; brother of Kimberly (Fred) Putzbach (Casalina/Ritchie), Michelle (Steven) Nicola, and Charles Houchin; uncle of Frederick Vincent Putzbach, Erik Putzbach, Nicole (JoJo) Blansit, Victoria Putzbach, Steven Nicola Jr., Randy Mills, and KayLynn Putzbach; and cousin of Gene Boothe, Dionna Schumer, Michael (Alicia) Boothe, David Boothe and Julie (Ray) Boothe. He kept Kim Brown and the Palombo family close to his heart and he also leaves behind many loving friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his children, Ryne Houchin and Noah Houchin; and nephew, William Andrew Putzbach.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, where a Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
