Obituary for Arlene F Wagemaker

Arlene F. Wagemaker, 81, of Willoughby, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019, at her residence.
Born Nov. 29, 1937, in Cleveland, she had lived in California for 24 years, but had lived the majority of her life in Lake County.
Arlene was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Willowick and an active member of the Eastlake Senior Center. She enjoyed listening to music at the Willoughby Concerts in the Park, going to movie nights at the Senior Center, and going to the Willoughby Farmer’s Market on Saturdays.
She was the loving mother of Christine T. (Ron) Grant of Madison and Ronald F. (Dianne) Pennington of Willoughby; cherished grandmother of Bryan (Desiree) Wright, Jenny (Ryan) Silbaugh, Kevin (Heather) Wright, Joe (Rachelle) Pennington and Allie Pennington; great-grandmother of Chase, Connor, Carter, Caden, Brooke, Grace, Olivia, Everly, Chaestyn, and Braelynne; and was one of many siblings.
Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Milford Pennington and Tino Viola; son, Clarence Pennington; and parents, Eugene and Marion (nee Graff) Wagemaker.
Family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. Sunday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, where a Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday. Pastor Ian Lynch of Kirtland Old South Church will officiate. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens at a later date.
