Obituary for Michael J. Luther
Funeral Mass for Michael J. Luther, 61, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., in Willoughby.
Mr. Luther passed away Monday, July 29, 2019, at Lake Health West Medical Center, in Willoughby, due to kidney failure.
Born June 6, 1958, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County, living in Willoughby.
Michael was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby, loved to walk, enjoyed fishing and loved animals.
He was the loving brother of Deborah A. (Sandor) Kadish and Stephen M. (Sharon) Luther; uncle of Robert (Jessica) Kadish, Nicholas Luther and Alexander Luther.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Darl J. and Genevieve L. (nee Haas) Luther.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., in Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his name may be made to the Lake County Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Bldg. E, Mentor, OH 44060.
