Michael P. Lowrie, 62, of Wickliffe, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born July 14, 1957, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Michael was a big sports fan, especially Cleveland sports including the Indians, Browns and Cavs. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing.
He was the beloved husband of 39 years to Kathy (nee Davis) Lowrie; loving father of Emily A. (Joe) Lowrie-Gingrich, Michael P. Lowrie Jr., Stephanie J. Lowrie (Matthew Carmella), and Steven W. Lowrie; cherished grandfather of Abby, Izzy, Michael J., and Vincent; son of Nancy (nee Cross) Lowrie; brother of Ann Marie (Andrew) Gruber, Kevin (Patty) Lowrie, Timmy (Michele) Lowrie, D.J. (Jane) Lowrie, and twins, Donna Krzysiak and Dan (Tracy) Lowrie; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lowrie.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life at 5:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
