Scott William Felker, 40, of Thompson, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019.
Born June 6, 1979, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Geauga County for six years, living in Chardon before moving to Thompson.
Scott was a school bus driver for West Geauga Schools and was loved by all of the kids. He was an avid outdoorsman, a fan of all Cleveland sports, was a member of the Mentor Athletic Hall of Fame, and loved Metallica, and being a husband and father.
He was the beloved husband of 11 years to Kelly M. (nee Balsiger) Felker; loving father of Makenna N., Aliza D., Alaina S., Stella M. and Larson W.; son of Gary E. (Mary Ellen) Felker and Kathleen (nee Grablovic) Felker; brother of Brett A. (Veronica) Felker and Dawn M. Felker; brother-in-law of Kenny (Kay) Balsiger, Nikki (Antwon) Morton, and Lindsey (Danny) Thompson; step-brother of Michael P. (Amber) Felder; and uncle of Forest, Fitzgerald, Tianna, Tori, Dylan, Elliot, Olivia, Kierra, Kiersten, Caden, Neveah, Lathen, Jazmyn, Trenton, Clayton, Kholton and Paxton. He also leaves step-nieces, Evelyn and Cora; and step-nephew, William.
Family will receive friends at a celebration of Scott’s life from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, at Perry Community Center, 2800 Perry Park Road.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in care of the family.
