Private services were held for Earl M. Georgia, 91, of Mentor.
Mr. Georgia passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, at Continuing Healthcare of Mentor.
Born July 31, 1928, in Cleveland, he had lived in Cleveland before moving to Lake County 56 years ago, living in Grand River before moving to Mentor.
Earl was a member of F.O.E. 2278, and enjoyed fishing and traveling.
He was the beloved husband of Wanda Georgia; loving father of Deborah Georgia Bailey (Hartford); stepfather of Steve (Susan) Hamner, William Hillen, Kathy Lynn Welch and Marie Hillen Evans; grandfather of Larry (Mickie) Adams Jr., Jeff Adams, Earl Georgia Yeary (Tami), Angela Nicole Bailey Amoline (Bert); and great-grandfather of many.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Lillian (nee Swafield) Georgia; and siblings, Edward Austin Georgia (Lou), Austin Buck Georgia (Gloria), and Gorden Georgia.
