Glenda will remain in our hearts forever. She encouraged me through many hard times, as I did also for her.
She was my matron of honor at our wedding. She is the person we chose to be God-Mother to our daughter. She was with us and stayed awake through a long night in Oct. when our first child was born. She went to our home and decorated for our home coming.
She supported me through heartbreak and happiness. We laughed and joked and went on excursions with many of our other neighbors. We called ourselves ‘The Lunch Bunch’. Lunch and shopping while the children were at school gave us time to love each other and be like sisters.
I told Glenda she was just like one of my sisters. She said she had always considered us to be family. We were.
The last time she was in our home, she came to visit our 8 newborn puppies. After that she wasn’t able to navigate the streets she needed to get here so I went to her.
We continued to visit her daughter Ellen at work, and share a lunch. She really liked Baker’s Square!
When Molly would visit from TN we’d get together and laugh till we cried. It was always like we had known each other forever.
I will see you again my dearest of friends. We don’t know when but we sure know where. Thank you for being there for me these last 54 years. I will find you always. Love, Jack and Karen and all of our famiies

Linda, I only met your Mom once but remember her warm welcome and pleasant smile. I am sorry for your loss and wish I could attend visitation but babysit on Wednesday’s. I’d love to touch base with you again and would love to hear from you. I called the funeral home and left my home and cell numbers, since the number I had for you is outdated. I think of you with a smile on my face remembering our antics together at Euclid hospital when we worked for Marie Phillips! Hoping to hear from you and sending sincere sympathy. Karen Knierim
