Obituary for Beverly Joy Sapatka

Beverly Joy (nee Palmer) Sapatka, 85, of Painesville, passed away in the loving arms of her family in the early morning hours of Thursday, March 5, 2020, at her home.
Born Dec. 29, 1934, in Mantua, she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Beverly was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville and loved cooking, gardening and camping.
She was the tender, loving mother of Marion L. (Wally) Sedgwick, George V. Sapatka and Mona L. (Michael) Secoy; mother-in-law of Dale Putnat; cherished grandmother of Michele, Stacy, Holly, Todd, James, Adria, Elizabeth, Halle, Beverly, Adam and Kelsie; great-grandmother of Kyan, Savannah, Shaelyn, Alex, Noah, Liam, Aiden, Cassie, Adriana, Skyla, Hayden, Camden, Greyson, and Leilani; sister-in-law of Marti Palmer; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George K. Sapatka in 1997; daughters, Laura L. Putnat, Susan L. Crouse and Beverly Jane Sapatka; parents, Virgil and Marion (nee Palmer) Palmer; grandson, Benjamin; siblings, Virgene (James, dec) McGroarty, Wayne Palmer and Betty Lou (Clyde, dec.) Bukky.
All are welcome to attend interment and graveside services 1 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2020, at Perry Cemetery, 3840 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, OH 44081.
