Obituary for M. Reza Faryani
M. Reza Faryani, 72, of Mentor, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Dec. 1, 1947, in Shiraz, Iran, he had been a resident of Lake County for 41 years.
Reza was an educator, teaching at Lakeland Community College for 30 years and Cleveland State University. He had previously taught at Lorain Community College and Lake Erie College.
He enjoyed cooking and gardening. Reza had also played and coached soccer.
Reza was the loving companion of Nancy A. Kukoleck; cherished father of Farzan Faryani and Jennifer Wineberg; and dear brother of M. Kazem Faryani, M. Karim Faryani, Paridehehr Parvin Faryani, Faridokht Fatimah Faryani, Nazila Roghiah Faryani and Mari Faryani.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jamal and Hamdan (nee Emadi) Faryani; and brother, M. Hossain Faryani.
Private family services were held.
