Obituary for Mary Frances Tuft

Funeral Mass for Mary Frances (nee Hanlon) Tuft, 77, of Willoughby Hills, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Father Michael Troha will officiate.
Mary battled several chronic illnesses over the years, but passed away peacefully Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Altercare of Mayfield Village.
Born Oct. 25, 1942, in East Cleveland, she had been a longtime Lake County resident.
Mary loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with all of them. Her wit and sense of humor got her through many difficult circumstances. “Mary, our "Queen" will be missed.”
She was the loving mother of Kimberly A. (Martin) Komertz, Patricia A. (Darrin) Radatz, and Peter N. (Jenny) Tuft; cherished grandmother of Marty (Stephanie), Corey, Michael and Daniel Komertz, Kara (Balint) Meggyesi and Kyle Radatz; sister of Danny Hanlon, Michael Hanlon, Joseph Hanlon, Timothy (Sandy) Hanlon, Alyce Hanlon, Christopher (Karen) Hanlon, Peggy O’Brien, and Tessie (Ken) Staaf; and kind aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick Joseph and Frances Violet (nee Krivacic) Hanlon; and sister, Rita Hanlon.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
