Obituary for Cloyd R "Dick" Biddle
Cloyd R. "Dick" Biddle, 76, of Mentor, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Nov. 20, 1943, in Newberry, Pa., he had lived in Brookpark and Fairview Park before moving to Lake County more than 30 years ago.
Cloyd loved motorcycles and boating. He also enjoyed model railroading in N-gauge railroads.
Mr. Biddle was a well known and admired mentor in the vending business and had a “million dollar foot.”
He was the beloved husband of 27 years to Lisa M. (nee Kinter) Biddle; loving father of Wendy A. Hutchison (Bob Lange), Holland R. (Tim) Capek, and Richard A. Biddle; cherished grandfather of Kyle Hutchison; brother of Dianna (Frank) Lenner and Tom (Kathy) Biddle; uncle of nieces and nephews; and former husband of Carole (Ray) (nee Shine) Hettinger.
Cloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Cloyd W. and Betty L. (nee Livingston) Biddle; and aunt, Dorothy “Aunt Dot” Livingston.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Shriner's.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
