Douglas J. Coughlin, 50, of Painesville Township, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020, at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Born Jan. 27, 1970, in North Madison, he had lived in Willoughby Hills and Mentor before moving to Painesville Township.
His family was very important to Doug, he loved his babies. He enjoyed boating and riding his Harley, and loved to work.
Mr. Coughlin was the former owner of Zion Tree Service and Zion Realty.
He was the loving father of Douglas (Chelsea), Aurora and Aveah; cherished grandfather of Olivia; beloved fiancé of Kari L. Gibson; son of Doris (nee Hess) Coughlin; brother of Daniel (Jennifer) Coughlin and Jacki Kirkpatrick; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his children, Dakota and Johnathan Lee; and father, Jack Coughlin.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with a Celebration of Life service to be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
