Funeral Mass for Charlotte Jean McCoy, 84, of Eastlake, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick.
Mrs. McCoy passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby surrounded by her family.
Born Aug. 2, 1932, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for the past 58 years.
Jean was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Willowick and Willoughby Eagles Aerie 2300. She loved her ceramics, played Mrs. Claus for 25 years, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved her "fill-ins" and crossword puzzles. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a wonderful wife.
Jean was the beloved wife of James B.; loving mother of Michael (Sherry) McCoy of Willoughby, David (Sandy) McCoy of Eastlake, Christine (Thomas) Aquila of Mentor, Mark (Christine) McCoy of North Royalton, Jean (Dennis) Feeney of Greenville, Texas, Peggy (Thomas) Henderson of Kirtland, Karen (Michael) Tarasco of Mentor, Beth (Chuck) Dobish of Mentor and Daniel (Kristen) McCoy of Auburn Township; cherished grandmother of 27; great-grandmother of 24; sister of William (Jan) Cox and Jerry (Carole) Cox; and aunt of many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Christine (nee Forshee) Cox; sister, Wilma Anderson; and brother-in-law, Richard Anderson.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
