Obituary for Patricia A Lucia
Funeral Mass for Patricia A. (nee McInerney) Lucia, 80, of Mentor, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor, OH 44060. Fr. Tom Johns will officiate.
Mrs. Lucia passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Ohio Living Breckenridge Village Nursing Facility in Willoughby.
Born Oct. 19, 1936, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for most of her life, living in Willowick before moving to Mentor.
She was the loving mother of James F. (Lisa) Lucia and Catherine A. (Michael) Szczepinski; cherished grandmother of Sarah Lucia, Patrick Lucia, Brian Szczepinski and Scott (Vanessa) Szczepinski; great-grandmother of Gianna; sister of Margaret “Peg” (Anthony) Nuccio, Patrick Joseph McInerney, Michael (Carol) McInerney, John (Nancy) McInerney, James Kevin “Monk” McInerney, Sheila McInerney Esposito, and Maura (Robert) Weiler; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph A. Lucia in 1998; daughter, Lisa M. Lucia in 2000; and parents, Patrick and Margaret (nee Hannam) McInerney.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
The family suggests donations in her name be made to Ohio Living Breckenridge Village, 36855 Ridge Road, Willoughby, OH 44094.
