Obituary for Jerome C Baumgardner Sr.

Funeral services for Jerome C. Baumgardner Sr., 76, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
Mr. Baumgardner passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby with his family at his side.
Born July 24, 1938, in Pennsylvania, he had been a Lake County resident for more than 50 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and loved NASCAR.
He was the loving father of Melanie I. (Paul) Antonelli of Willowick and Keith E. (Lisa) Baumgardner; cherished grandfather of Kari, Dominic (Kimberly Havran), Matthew (Nicole), Geoffrey, Zachary and Warren; great-grandfather of Kailei, Emma, Landon, Nyah and Riker; brother of Eugene (Nancy) Baumgardner, Karen (Chuck) Laucher and David (Vanessa) Baumgardner; and brother-in-law of Ed Woods and Wilbur McIntosh.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley M. (nee Cowger) Baumgardner; sons, Frank D., and Jerome C. Baumgardner Jr.; parents, Charles and Anna Mae (nee Lunt) Baumgardner; and siblings, Patricia Woods, Ollie Baumgardner and Sharon McIntosh.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at The Abbey of Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
