Obituary for Zachary Swede Carter
Funeral services for Zachary Swede Carter, 21, of Painesville, will be 7:30 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor.
Zachary passed away April 5, 2015.
Born July 13, 1993, in Carthage, N.Y., he had been a lifelong Lake County resident.
Zachary liked sports including the Denver Broncos and Cleveland Cavaliers.
He was the loving son of James M. (Teresa) Carter and Shari D. (nee Linder) Carter (Edward Hotko); brother of Ashley Carter, Megan Carter, Justin Stroup, Mason Carter and James Carter Jr.; uncle of Brielle Tucker; paternal grandson of Leroy and Mary Ann (nee Morgan) Berg; great nephew of Nelson Linder; nephew of Randy (Lori) Linder, Neal (Liz) Linder, Stuart Linder, Renee Linder, Kim (Joe) Reece and Michael McCafferty; and friend of many.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Peter Hernandez; paternal grandmother, Diana McCafferty; and maternal grandparents, Marvin and Janet (nee Dinkelmann) Linder.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
