Obituary for Geraldine M Francis

Memorial Mass for Geraldine M. (nee Kozak) Francis, 95, of Willowick, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2015, at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick.
Mrs. Francis passed away Monday, July 6, 2015, at Mount St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center in Euclid.
Born April 17, 1920, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Willowick for more than 40 years.
Geraldine liked family get-togethers, traveling and sightseeing, playing Pinochle, bingo and the lottery, doing things at the Senior Center, and also cooking and baking with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved roses, sweets and gravy, prayed the Rosary daily and attended Mass before becoming ill.
She was the loving mother of Joanne (George) Worch, Barbara (James) Kittelberger Stewart, Shirley Francis, Judith Francis, and Bonnie (John) Burbol; cherished grandmother of Andrew III (Carmen), Jason Francis, Jeffrey Francis, Vanessa (Jason) Weiser, Tina Kittelberger, Amora (Darrell) Upton, Lily Joy Szoka, Sara Burbol (John Campbell) and John (Laura) Burbol; great-grandmother of Andrew Francis IV, Jacob Francis, Hailey Francis, Callie and Tenley Weiser, Felicia and Alyssa Kittelberger, Andrew Kowalski, Dwight, Drake, Savannah and Sydney Upton, Emma and Dylan Campbell and Harper Burbol; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andrew I in 1996; son, Andrew Francis II; daughter, Sandra Szoka; grandson, Andrew Kittelberger; parents, Stephan and Elizabeth (nee Svetlin) Kozak; and siblings, Mary Duracensky, James Kirkwood, John Kozak, Stephan Kozak and George Kozak.
Private burial will be held in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
The family suggests donations in her name be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
