Obituary for John F. Kelly

John F.  Kelly
Funeral Mass for John F. Kelly, 94, of Willoughby will be 10 a.m. Monday
at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mr. Kelly passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Fairmount Health Care Center
in Willoughby.
Born Jan. 13, 1921 in Dublin, Ireland, he was a resident of Lake County for 59 years
living in Willoughby.
John was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the church’s Men’s Holy Name Society where he was the member of the year. He was also a member of the West Side Irish American Club, the East Side Irish American Club, a former member of the Sons and Daughters of Erin, and a lifelong member of the Ridge Acres Civic Association. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He loved gardening and playing the accordion.
John was the loving father of Kevin J. (Peggy) Kelly, John F. (Angie) Kelly Jr., Daniel P. (Melissa)
Kelly, James D. (Sara) Kelly and Patrick J. (Kim) Kelly; cherished grandfather of Kevin (Colleen), Sean, Maureen, Caitlin (Jon) Jungklaus, Brenna (Keith) Dailey, Loren, Katie, Rachel, Maire and Fiona;
great grandfather of Oliver Dailey; brother of Loughlin J. (Carol) Kelly; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean F. (nee Barnes) Kelly in 2011; grandson, Ryan Patrick; parents, John J. and Kathleen A. (nee English) Kelly; brother, William J. Kelly; and
sister-in-law, Mae Kelly.
Family will receive friends at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
The family suggests contributions to Little Brothers and Sisters of the Eucharist, C/O Fr. James
O’Donnell, 2182 E. 35th St., Cleveland OH 44115 and the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair
