Georgene Louise "Bunny"  Stitts
Funeral Mass for Georgene L. “Bunny” (nee Diaddario) Stitts, 81, of Euclid, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ss. Robert and William Church, 367 E. 260th St., Euclid, where family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the Mass. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at church.)
Mrs. Stitts passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016, at her residence in Euclid.
Born July 11, 1934, in Cleveland, she had lived in Cleveland before moving to Euclid 23 years ago.
She was a member of Ss. Robert and William Church in Euclid, and a former member of Holy Redeemer Church in Cleveland. Bunny enjoyed cooking, crocheting and being with her family. She especially loved being a Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma.
She was the loving mother of Patricia J. Stitts, Philip J. (Cathy) Stitts, John B. “Butch” (Michele) Stitts Jr., Thomas M. (Debra) Stitts, Kathleen A. (Greg) Davis, and Mariellen (Zeljko) Pavlak; cherished grandmother of Melissa, Christina, John, Jessica, Charles, Patrick, Alexandria, Rebecca, Ashley, Chelsea and Katarina; great-grandmother of Michael and Kaitlyn; sister of John A. (Sharon) Diaddario and James P. (Debi) Diaddario; and aunt of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John B. Stitts in 2014; great-grandson, Ethan; and parents, Pasquale and Margaret (nee Senot) Diaddario.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
