William B  Chambers
William B. Chambers, 76, of Mentor, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
He was born April 9, 1940, in Bay Village.
Mr. Chambers was a member of the Teamster’s Union, a Kent State Alumni, and was very supportive of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the USO. He also enjoyed gardening.
He was the loving father of Michael S. (Sharon) Chambers and Mark A. (Jennifer) Chambers; cherished grandfather of Michael, Anne, Owen, Sarah and Emma; brother of Marcia (Barry) Glass; uncle of Scott Glass and Christine Glass; great-uncle of Nicholas Glass; and cheerful companion of Peggy Figoli.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marjorie (nee Davis) Chambers.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be private.
