Obituary for Robert Herman Kravos
Funeral Mass for Robert Herman Kravos, 79, of Willoughby Hills, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at St. Mary’s Church, 15519 Holmes Ave., Cleveland.
Mr. Kravos passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, at Grande Pointe Nursing Facility in Richmond Heights.
Born Aug. 21, 1936, in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident for more than 60 years, living in Willoughby Hills.
Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran and enjoyed gardening, camping, and working around his yard.
He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Beverly J. (nee Tercek) Kravos; loving father of Christine A. (Richard) Benson and Robert H. Kravos Jr.; cherished grandfather of Brandon, Danielle, Courtney and Alexandra; great-grandfather of Cora, Brooks, Avery and Maeve; brother of Dorothy Hock; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mary (nee Yankovic) Kravos; and sister, Rose Keba.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
