Obituary for Isabel K Cihon
Funeral Mass for Isabel K. (nee Koenig) Cihon, 93, of Mentor, will be 12 noon Friday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Fr. Tom Johns will officiate the Mass.
Mrs. Cihon passed away Monday, Sept. 12, 2016.
She was born June 10, 1923, in Cleveland.
Isabel was an accountant working for Walton & Associates as a C.P.A. from 1937 to 1960. She was a housewife and from 1969 to 2006, was the office manager at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Euclid.
She was the loving mother of Michael P. Cihon (Joan M. Hayward Cihon).
Isabel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John E. Cihon Oct. 15, 1993; parents, Anton and Albina (nee Wiederwohl) Koenig; and sister, Marian Kanzig.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
