Obituary for Olga S Grund

Olga S  Grund
Funeral mass for Olga S. (nee Erjavec) Grund, 95, of Mentor, will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mrs. Grund passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, Brookdale of Willoughby.
Born Sept. 10, 1921, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for the past 58 years, living in Mentor Headlands.
Olga was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the church choir, and sang with the Peabody Conservatory. She loved golfing, dancing, bowling and spending time with her children. Olga was also a member of the Wickliffe Senior Center.
She was the loving mother of Louis F. “Skip” Grund Jr., June M. Delong, and Louise D. (Clifton) Stanley; cherished grandmother of Michelle Marie (David) Kocis, Melissa Lee (George) Chapman, Daniel Wayne (Andrea) Delong, Andrew James Delong, Michael Kelly (Tammy) Delong, Victoria June Delong, Alina (Rick) Romano and Clint Steven Stanley; great-grandmother of Steven Doremus, Dale Verbic, Jamie Carpenter, Aidan Delong, Alexander Delong, Fredrick Delong, Phineas Delong, Evan Delong, Aubriana Delong, Vincent Romano, Dominic Romano and Nicholas Romano; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Olga was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis F. Grund in 1996; son, Henry J. Grund II; grandson, Luke William Delong; parents, Frank and Jennie (nee Skerl) Erjavec; and siblings, Frank Erjavec, Edward Erjavec, Sophie Humphreys, James Erjavec and Joseph Erjavec.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
