Obituary for Gloria Jean Rogers
Funeral Mass for Gloria Jean Rogers, 71, of Fairport Harbor, will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Gloria passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
She was born June 29, 1945, in Cleveland.
Gloria was a graduate of Villa Angela High School Class of 1963, and the University of Dayton. Gloria’s smile, hugs and infectious attitude brightened the days of many residents at Breckenridge Village, where Gloria had worked for over 30 years. Her presence there will be missed by all. Gloria lived life to the fullest. Her love of life was reflected by her passion for photography, music, fashion and dancing. She shared her passion with many. To those loved friends Gloria will forever be dancing with them.
She was the beloved wife of Donald L. Rogers; loving mother of Heather and Todd Rogers; cherished “Nana” of Sophia, Jackson, Sam and Maddie; dear sister of Marie (Tony) Aveni, Tim and Mark Sweeney; and an aunt and cousin to many.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
