Obituary for Frank Terdan Jr.
Funeral services for Frank Terdan Jr., 91, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor.
Mr. Terdan passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Brookdale of Mentor.
Born Dec. 27, 1925, in Yugoslavia, he came to the United States at the age of 13, with his mother and brother.
Frank was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Terdan had worked for Towmotor/Caterpillar prior to his retirement.
Frank was the beloved husband of 67 years to Mary R. (nee Bole) Terdan; loving father of Judy Terdan Truax, Dale (Jesse) Terdan, Gary (Linda) Terdan and Mark (Nancy) Terdan; cherished grandfather of Megan, Michael, Adam, Tiffany and Heather; great-grandfather of Hannah, Zachary, Isaak, Marcus, Keria, Hailey, James and Tyler; and brother of Fred Terdan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Angela (nee Mihelich) Terdan.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
