Obituary for Eleanor C Gallo
Eleanor C. (nee Neuman) Gallo, 88, of Mentor, passed away Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at Brookdale of Mentor.
Born June 29, 1929, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for 50 years, living in Willowick before moving to Mentor.
She was the loving mother of Judy L. (Donald) Jantonio, Sandra J. Gallo and Paul R. (Cynthia) Gallo; cherished grandmother of Don (Allison), Greg, Michelle, Sharon (Josh), Heather (Eli), Kate and Anthony; great-grandmother of Avery, Genna, Annabelle, Alexander, Josephine and Sawyer; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Gallo in 2015; parents, Carl and Emily (nee Gudat) Neuman; and siblings, Harold (Hilda) Neuman, Gertrude (Gene) Newnes, Loretta Benedict, Doris (Joe) Selick and Janet (Wally) Teras.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, where a celebration of life service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday. Pastor Barbara Holzhauser will officiate. Burial will be private.
