Theodore Roger "Teddy"  Mantell II
A Celebration of Life Service for Theodore Roger “Teddy” Mantell II, 52, of Ashtabula, will be 4:30 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Pastor Mark Winner of Cornerstone Friends Church will officiate.
Mr. Mantell passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, in Ashtabula.
Born May 28, 1965, in Willoughby, he had lived in Eastlake before moving to Ashtabula 12 years ago.
Teddy was a member of the N.R.A. and the Wildlife Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, liked working in his yard, taking good care of his house and rescuing dogs. He had worked in the Nuisance Wildlife Control Industry for 20 years.
Mr. Mantell was an employee of Steris and had formerly worked for Buyers Company in Mentor.
He was the loving fiancé of Deborah A. “Deb” Williams and her son, Randy Williams; dear son of Theodore Roger (Ute) Mantell Sr.; and cousin of Andrea L. (James) Bowens and James C. (Becky) Doty. He also leaves his loving “four-legged” companions.
Teddy was preceded in death by his former wife, Carole Hobbs.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at Whitehaven Memorial Park, 615 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Village. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at the cemetery.)
