Obituary for Andrew Jakovlic Sr.

Funeral Mass for Andrew Jakovlic Sr., 84, of Euclid, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 15th, at Ss. Robert and William Church, 367 E. 260 St., Euclid. (Everyone is asked to please meet at church.)
Mr. Jakovlic passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
He was born Nov. 5, 1933, in Cumberland, Pa.
Andrew was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, member of Ss. Robert and William Church in Euclid and Union Local #507, and was an avid sports fan.
He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Phyllis M. (nee Kowalski) Jakovlic; loving father of Andrew M. (Roberta) Jakovlic Jr., Robert P. (Corinne) Jakovlic, Thomas M. (Ruth) Jakovlic and John J. (Jean) Jakovlic; cherished grandfather of Jacob, Gabriel, Nathan, Sarah, Ryan, Wyatt, Evan, Avery and Ian; brother of Ann Shimenski; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Andrew was preceded in death by his son, James A. Jakovlic; parents, Andrew and Catherine (nee Mandick) Jakovlic; and siblings, George Jakovlic, Katherine Kovasky and twins, Marlene Schaefer and Diane Ellis.
Burial will be private.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
