In loving memory of Adam Bruce Singleton, age 21.
May 19, 1997-Sept. 07, 2018.
Adam was born in Cleveland and a lifelong Lake and Geauga County resident. Adam started his life out big, 10 lbs., 13 oz. and never stopped growing.
Even as a young child, Adam loved to be the life of the party, making jokes and trying to make his family and friends laugh. Adam was a gifted athlete, both in baseball and soccer. Adam played on many traveling baseball teams as a 1st baseman and pitcher, and soccer teams as a goalie. In his spare time, Adam loved to hang around with his many friends, girlfriend, cousins, brother and sister. Adam also loved to play video games and make YouTube videos.
Adam loved music and would listen to anything from Elvis and Roy Orbison to heavy metal and rap. Adam was working as a front desk agent at the Hampton Inn and Suites Mentor, while going to college at Lakeland Community College studying to become a nurse. Adam loved Cleveland sports, especially the Cavilers and the Indians.
Adam is survived by his mother, Julie A Singleton (fiancé, Mike McNamara); father, Danny W. Singleton (frainceé, Stacie Clark); brother, Stephen D. Singleton (fianceé, Laura Christy); sister, Bethany A. Singleton; future stepbrothers, Sean McNamara and Joshua Clark; future stepsisters, Heather McNamara, Carissa Romberger, and Jenna Clark; paternal grandfather, William L. Singleton (Debbie Singleton); uncle, Jay Sharp (Rose Sharp); aunt, Kelly Horvath (Ahmod Betton); cousins, Ed Sharp, Alisha Sharp, Eric Sharp, Gabriel Betton, Rosaria Betton, Ahmiah Betton, Aurelius Betton, and Irelynn Betton; best friend, Dakota Hill; and girlfriend, Marissa Sender.
Adam was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and grandfather, Doris Myers and James Myers; uncle, Bruce D. Myers; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Hutton.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12th, 2018, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Rt. 615, N. of Rt. 2), Mentor, OH 44060. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 13th, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial to follow at the Mentor Cemetery. A gathering of friends will be held after the burial at Adams mother’s house at 7275 Connie Rd, Mentor Oh. 44060.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name, in care of the family.
