Obituary for James Cika

James  Cika
Funeral Mass for James Cika, 95, of Euclid, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ss. Robert and William Catholic Church, 367 E. 260 St., Euclid. Fr. John Betters will officiate.
Mr. Cika passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Euclid Hospital.
He was born June 9, 1923, in Avella Pa.
Mr. Cika was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
James was the beloved husband of 65 years to Janet Elaine (nee Pfeiffer) Cika; loving father of Jim Cika, Janie Cika Tamburrino, Jeffrey (Laura) Cika and Donald (Jessy) Cika; cherished grandfather of Kristen Tamburrino, Matthew Cika and Kaylani Cika; and great-grandfather of Delayne Peters, Anthony Watkins and Adrianna Watkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Elizabeth (nee Minith) Czika; brothers, Joseph (Anastasia) Czika, Steven (Virginia) Czika and Ernest (Margaret) Czika; and half-sisters, Elizabeth, Ethel and Mary.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
